Jesus Dies and Rises Again

Jesus had a special supper with his friends. He took bread and a cup of wine, said thank you to God, and shared them. In the bread and wine, Jesus was giving them himself, because he loved them so much.

Jesus loves us so much. Jesus died for us, and then God made him alive again!

Early on Sunday morning, some women came to the place where Jesus had been laid. The big stone was rolled away. The tomb was empty! Two shining angels said, "Jesus is alive!"

The women ran, ran, ran to tell his friends the happy news.

Later, Jesus came to see his friends. He was really alive!

Jesus is alive, and Jesus loves you!
